The Canadian railroads are warning they will stop taking freight.
CN and CPKC have been in a labor fight, and the embargoes have been getting wider. This is not the day to find out your container is sitting on a rail car with nowhere to go.
Find the box now
If your freight is on one of those railroads, ask which ramp it is on and whether a truck can pull it before the railroad stops. Book that truck while the ramp will still release the box.
Do not wait for the railroad to announce that it has stopped. By then you are in a line with everyone else who waited.
