Fleets that were buying battery trucks because a rule was pushing them have slowed down.
The regulatory push eased, and a lot of orders that existed only for that rule got put back. The truck that shows up on your dock is still, in most cases, a diesel truck.
Ask which lanes are actually electric
If a carrier or a customer told you the fleet would be electric, ask which lanes are electric now and which are not. Do not build a receiving plan, a charger plan, or a rate plan on a truck that has not been bought.
This is not a verdict on the trucks. It is a question of what is really coming to the door.
